Ellery, Zoe, Zan and Nathan
A few weeks ago on a beautiful and warm spring day we met Robin, Sandy, Sue and their families at the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island. We loved watching the two baby giraffes (one year olds), especially the birth video! Wow!
We also watched the elephant keepers bath the three female elephants. They threw them bits of grapes, as well as other fruits and vegetables to keep them busy while they worked.
We made a trip to Roger Williams Zoo when Zoe was about 18 months old. The zoo is part of a great park, containing gardens, ponds, boats, etc. Inside the park they have a carousel. Here is a photo of Zoe riding the carousel as a toddler and another as an eight year old!
