Purple Finches Spring Concert

Last night Zoe's choral group, The Purple Finches, performed their spring concert.  I wish I could share it with you - we have GOT to get a video camera!  They began with a procession into the hall, with all three groups (Fledglings, Fliers and Finches) coming from a different location, while singing "Come Follow Me."  It never fails...those little voices always bring tears to my eyes...I don't know what it is! Zoe's group, the Fliers, sang "Weevily Wheat," "Hine Ma Tov," and "Fairest Lady" by themselves. The Finches joined them for "Ahrirang" and "Sound the Trumpet."   I was impressed by how many of the instrumental accompaniments were performed by students in the Purple Finches group.  The show ended with the group's favorite "Al Shlosha D'Varim."
