Our fifth and final stop on our road trip was Washington, DC. After less than a day in the city we decided that we were all tired of traveling, so we headed home. Before leaving we saw the Smithsonian's American History Museum, the Washington Monument, had lunch in the Smithsonian's Native American Museum and took in the National Zoo in the evening - unfortunately most of the animals had already been put to "bed."
