We spent the last week of summer on MV! We arrived in a gale - the weather was windy, rainy and cold for the first three days. We were happily occupied reading, playing games and watching movies, but by day three the rain and wind had let up a bit and we had had ENOUGH! Zan and I put the kayaks in the water & went for a paddle, which apparently did the trick - an hour later the sun was shining and the next three days were picture perfect.
Our stay overlapped with Grandma for a few days and then Aunt Debbie, Jesi, Bennett, Maria and Kesh. We did all the usual Vineyard things: Scrabble, Uno, hammock time, kayaking, walking to Mad Martha's for ice cream, picking out books at the Bunch of Grapes, s'mores on the beach and swimming with the "jellies."
