Christmas Wrap-Up

We had a great Christmas, starting with a visit from Mimi the weekend before.  She got to see Zoe's riding lesson, Zan's hockey game and Mike's holiday concert.  In between activities and a yummy dinner at the Hibachi grill, Mimi, Zoe and Zan  decorated sugar cookies.

Christmas morning - Zan dressed in his new Bruins gear

and Zoe with her new "Kindle."

After Christmas we spent several days in New York with Grandma, Uncle Duncan, Aunt Margaret, Nick, Nate, Uncle Ben, Aunt Debbie and Carter at Nick and Nate's house.  We mainly spent time sitting around the fire, visiting and eating, but we did get out for a great walk on the "Walkway Over the Hudson."  It was COLD!

The four of us took the train into NYC to see the "Christmas Spectacular" at Radio City Music Hall.

The city was VERY crowded - literally standing room only on the sidewalks!  We managed to see a few sites:  New York Public Library (photo taken at 8:30 AM - before the city got busy), the tree and skating rink at Rockefeller Center, the Lego Store (also wall to wall people) and a small part of Central Park and the lobby of the Metropolitan Museum of Art before throwing in the towel and heading back to Duncan and Margaret's house on the train.

Great pictures! It looks like your family enjoyed a lovely holiday.

If you belong to the Concord Public Library, Zoe can borrow ebooks from their eMedia catalog called OverDrive. It's an excellent service - enjoy your Kindle, Zoe!
