Here are some random pictures from the last month or so....

Rare photo of us....and evidence of Mike's "Grizzly Adams" style beard.  He has trimmed it since and mentioned shaving it off soon.

Hockey season is finally over - as of last weekend.  Zan's team had a great season.  They finished first in one league and second in the other, and we made it through try-outs for NEXT year.  Zan only skated on one of the two try-out nights because he was sick, but he was pleased with his placement on the squirt 2 team.   Now on to baseball tryout tonight.....

   

Spring at the farm?  This was taken BEFORE the ten inches of snow we got earlier this week.  Zoe is riding Cali down to the ring.  Cali is a beautiful horse, but has some challenging behaviors.  I love that Zoe has the confidence to ride challenging horses, even though my palms sweat while I'm watching it all.

Zoe and Sophie before the middle level state honors band performance.  Both Zoe and Sophie were in the flute choir.  Students from all over the state auditioned this fall.  Those who made it spent the day together last Friday and then put on a concert in the evening.  The concert was truly amazing! I had to keep reminding myself that they were middle school students.
