April Staycation Continued...

I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to post this...Mike chosen vacation activity was an overnight trip to visit Mimi.  After lunch at Randall's Farm, we drove up to the Quabbin Resevoir for a look around.  I've always been fascinated by the children's book, Letting Swift River Go, which is the story of the towns that were flooded to create the Quabbin Resevoir.

The next day we went to Sturbridge Village, which is a model of a colonial settlement in the 1830's.  There were quite a few school groups there, but with some scheming we managed to avoid them. Some of the  interpreters were a bit quirky, but most were very knowledgable and seemed to enjoy a chance to talk with us.

Zan's pick for vacation week was Canobie Lake Park!  No pictures, but we had a great time!  We all went on the Corkscrew and the Yankee Cannonball (coasters), but only Mike and Zoe were brave enough for Untamed!
