Zan's Preschool class went on a field trip this morning to Beech Hill Farm. I'm not sure which was more exciting for the kids: visiting the animals and eating ice cream or RIDING ON THE BUS! We visited the calves, baby goats, rabbits, ponies, donkeys, piglets and peafowl before having ice cream. Zan is so accustomed to visiting the farm with us and running around on his own that being there in a more structured environment was different. He was a bit perplexed that he couldn't play in the sand pile, climb on the rock or go see the tractor! The teacher in me is happy to report that he followed directions beautifully!
