This trip to Boston doesn't qualify as an adventure of either Zan or Zoe, but it is worth noting! Last Friday Mike and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. To mark the occasion we went to Boston (not the trip to Italy we talked about ten years ago) while Grandma came up to stay with Zan and Zoe for three nights. We packed a lot of food into three days: wine and cheese picnics, dinner at our favorite Indian restaurant in Allston, a late lunch/dinner in the North End, pizza at Upper Crust, too many ice cream cones and breakfast at a diner called Zoe's! Visiting museums without kids in tow was also high on our list. We hit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the MFA. At night we went out for more fun - Blue Man Group, Shear Madness and an Imax movie at the Science Museum about the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon movie inspired Mike to begin planning a rafting trip down the Colorado River. Most outfits require that you be at least nine years old, so I guess we'll have to put that trip off for a few years.

the picture of the Boston skyline is beautiful! it would look great framed.
i'm glad you had fun in Boston. i made some mental notes for when tom and i go there... we're planning a long weekend in September.
Pam, what a great picture of the Boston skyline! I actually think we've eaten at Zoe's too... was it in Cambridge? Friends of ours used to live right down the street from there, and we'd always go for brunch when we visited.
