Yesterday Zan and I went to the Boston Children's Museum for the day. Zoe was going over to Emily's house after school so we didn't have to rush home to pick her up at 2:30, giving us a little more flexibility than usual. The most interesting part of the day was Zan's determination to climb the huge three story "fish net" climbing structure in the lobby of the museum. It was the first thing he wanted to do. He didn't get very far before climbing out because he was nervous and not sure where to go. After doing something else he announced that he wanted to try the "net" again. This went on ALL day, each time he got a little bit further along. After his last attempt (probably his 10th), in which he got almost a third of the way up, he was as white as a ghost and his hands were clammy, but he was SO proud of himself!

Zan loved the "Blue Man Group" exhibit. He was mesmerized by the photos of the "blue men."
The "Construction Zone" is always a big hit.

i am stoked to go there for me :) wow a blue man grou pexhibit! those folks are awesome...i saw them once and was blown away.

i am tempted to drive all the way to the museum and climb the net myself!!! looks like he had a blast.
