After Zoe started playing the flute this spring, she asked Mike if she could participate in his annual summer band camp with his students. They made a deal - if she got to a certain point in her flute book and could hold her own with the other students then she was in! She did it! Band Camp runs for two weeks, meeting for three hours every morning. They end with a concert on the last day, in the evening, wearing the tie dye T-shirts that they made during camp and celebrating with ice cream afterward.
