Escape to Boston

According to the paper this morning, this past June was NOT the wettest June in history (just the 8th wettest), it just felt like it. My tomato plants are pathetic, nothing dries outside, the mud room is stinky with wet soggy shoes and Zoe announced that she has only had to wear sunblock once since school got out. For a change of scenery we went to Boston on Wednesday, taking in the Children's Museum, the USS Cassin Young, the USS Constitution AND cannoli from Mike's Pastry in the North End.
Forecast for today....rain!

I HAVE DECIDED to wear sunscreen today in commemoration for a time we once called summer

Hi Pam: We did the video on the Cassin Young that is available for people that can't actually go on the ship due to the stairs, etc. It's the same kind of ship your grandfather was on and was also hit by a kamakazee.
