It's funny how quickly things become tradition. When it comes to our Christmas tree we always tag it in October at Scammon's and go back in December to cut it down. While decorating we listen to James Taylor's Christmas album and drink egg nog. I'm not quite sure how these traditions started, but Zoe and Zan insist on them now. Another example is a simple wooden ladder toy with Christmas figures that Grandma gave them years ago, in fact Zan may not have even been born yet. It only appears at Christmas time when the decorations are brought up from the basement. I've suggested passing it along several times, but they just look at me in horror - how could I suggest such a thing!
