Happy New Year! Vacation week has been very relaxing and relatively uneventful. Here are a few highlights:
- Two additional apple products were under the tree on Christmas morning, bringing our household total to an embarrassing number that I refuse to share. We continue strategizing, rethinking and monitoring how to set, stick-to, and re-adjust technology usage for all of us! Today I found myself texting Zoe from the kitchen (she was in her bedroom) to ask her a question. I know....
- We walked a portion of the newly formed West End Farm Trail the day after Christmas. Zoe and Zan both sported their new sherpa style hats.
Part of the trail goes through the apple orchard.
- Grandma came up for a quick visit in between snowstorms. We had a great visit, and she got to watch Zoe have a lesson on Kittery.
- On New Year's Eve our rink was finally ready to skate on! Zoe went to Santa's Village with friends and Mike was in NYC at a Phish show, so Zan put together a last minute skating party for a few friends. They skated, cooked hotdogs and s'mores on the fire, made snow forts and had a snowball fight - a huge success!
