We spent five days at the end of June with extended family at the Brynmere in Annisquam. We were all there last year for my cousin Tyler's wedding to Sarah and enjoyed it so much that we had to return. The house is huge (12+ bedrooms) and comfortable enough to accommodate all three generations of grandparents, siblings and cousins. In typical fashion we spent our time swimming, hanging out at the beach, reading, playing games, eating, sailing, napping etc. We also got to meet three new family members: Lucy and the twins, Lizzy and Alex.
Bennett and Zan build with legos.
Mike gets to know Lucy.
Zan shows Uncle Ben how to play a game on the ipad.
Zan and his cousin Carter were either in the water on the beach or playing video games.
Rusty, during jam session....
Charlotte (Lizzy and Alex's big sister)
Relaxing on the beach at low tide. The tides at Annisquam make for an ever changing beach. At low tide there is a thirty foot wide sandy beach and tide pools to explore. At high tide the water comes right up to the rocks on shore, making it easy to swim.
Josh, Carolyn, and Diana head out for a family outing in the kayak.
Huge boulders on the beach are impossible to resist.

Zoe and Aunt Debbie heading to the sandbar, where they were scolded by the lifeguards - no kayaks on the beach.
Zan in the kayak with no paddle!
Mike and Ben walking in at low tide for a swim.
Jesi, caught napping.
